Reader（英国体系下准教授），IEEE Senior Member，2011年PhD毕业。
Dr Jin Yang’s research focus is the power distribution network analysis, operation and control considering high penetration of distributed renewable power generation and increasing storage (including electric vehicles and V2G) interfaced via power electronics.
目前组里大概有三个在职博后（西班牙，印度，中国各一，目前均已完成）以及四到五个在读博士生。 对学生要求较为宽松，但是乐于和学生沟通，并且尊重学生的科研兴趣，鼓励学生参加学术会议开阔视野（没疫情一年能开三个会去玩），修改学生文章及其细心。 之前在Aston univerisity 当Lecturer 19年末回到母校 University of Glasgow 升任 Senior Lecturer，22年升任reader 。
