## Advisor Style & Mentorship His advisor/mentorship style is flexible and he adapts to what is best for you. If you prefer a more hand-off PI he is great but is also more than willing to schedule extra meetings and give feedback. Very accessible and responsive.
## Expectations for PhD Students Expectations are very reasonable, he trusts his students to maintain their own schedule and get their work done. The average time to graduate seems to be around 5 and half or 6 years.
## Funding & Support Funding has not been an issue as far as I am aware and he is very supportive of activities outside of lab. He is understanding and is great at accommodating students if they are having problems outside of lab and need to take time off.
## Research Lab culture is fantastic, everyone is supportive and helpful, especially if you are new to the lab.
## Lab Culture The research field is promising and he is very good at incorporating the students interests and ideas into projects. He does a good job at guiding your ideas instead of just telling students what to do.
