## Advisor Style & Mentorship He knows a lot about semiconductor devices, but he will always ask you to think it through yourself. What he believes he needs to do is to criticize your ideas and results and then ask you to think more about them. Sometimes he will give some good advice, sometimes not.
## Expectations for PhD Students He wants his students to be an engineer and have a big picture. And his students also have to know both simulation and fabrication, which means that his former Ph.D. students are really awesome engineers with full semiconductor skills.
## Funding & Support It depends. Most come from DARPA.
## Research Labmates are good because our prof is sometimes mean. So we help each other a lot.
## Lab Culture Advanced semiconductor devices (FinFET, NSFET, FinHBT), close to industry.
