As a PI, she is an excellent mentor who genuinely sees her students as whole people, not just researchers. She is deeply invested in making sure they leave her lab as capable scientists. She holds herself and her students to a high standard, both in the quality of their research and in their commitment to scientific integrity. She is very busy.
