## Advisor Style & Mentorship: Hands-off but offers advice when requested. Friendly and down to earth. Knowledgable but requires proactive setup of meetings to get mentorship. Lab experience can be a bit messy if not setup properly. ## Expectations for PhD Students: Normal, he expects students to perform research and motivates professional development. He is a good mentor for the right person that can match his style.
